The air isn't crisper and leaves aren't turning autumnal hues, but the aisles of HEB are prepping us for Fall with an array of exciting new foods and home decor items.

I've scoured the aisles to present you with a curated selection of the latest and most delightful product sightings. From comforting pumpkin spice delights to cute ghost decor, let's embark on this Fall adventure together.

Pumpkin-Shaped Sugar Cookies

First sighting: HEB Westlake Village - Austin, TX on 8/25

These jack-o-lantern-shaped orange sugar cookies have a cult following. They're simple and delicious. Last year I jazzed them up by adding some ube frosting in the middle, and it was an amazing addition. Recipe is available here.

Cowboy Ghostie

First sighting: HEB at 10710 Research Blvd - Austin, TX on 8/30

This cowboy ghost figurine is so cute and will without a doubt sell out, so make sure to grab it if you see it. I bought up the few I found at the HEB on Research and this morning I saw it had just launched at Leander 2, only to find them already gone by the time I got there.

Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos) Dog & Cat Mugs

First sighting: HEB 19348 Ronald Reagan Blvd - Georgetown, TX on 8/31

These dog and cat mugs are my favorite new additions to Dia de los Muertos decor aisle at HEB this year. They are not linked as they are not showing up on the app for me at this time.

Swoon Pumpkin Cheesecake & Raspberry Danish Ice Cream

First sighting: HEB Whitestone & Bell - Cedar Park, TX on 8/23

Swoon is HEB's higher-quality ice cream brand. I describe it as a Ben & Jerry's dupe. Last year they debuted these limited edition Swoon Fall flavors and they were so popular they brought them back for 2023.

Both of these were hard to find later in the season last year, especially the pumpkin cheesecake flavor. I recently tried it and it's full of Fall spices with big chunks of cheesecake and a graham swirl.

HEB Creamy Creations Apple Cinnamon and Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream

First sighting: HEB Whitestone & Bell - Cedar Park, TX on 8/23

This isn't our first sighting of either flavor, having both been around for several years, but I'm excited to see them nevertheless!

Apple Cinnamon has a biscuit swirl and apple pieces, which should sell you on the spot. Pumpkin Pie is a spiced pumpkin ice cream with graham crush and whip cream swirl. Total fan fave.

HEB Exclusive Dia de los Muertos M&Ms

First sighting: HEB 19348 Ronald Reagan Blvd - Georgetown, TX on 8/27

This year, M&M's debuted a limited edition Dia de Los Muertos Peanut M&M's bag that seems to only be sold in Texas at HEB grocery stores. There are three bag designs: skull, butterfly and guitar.

HEB Pumpkin Empanadas

Recent sighting: HEB Plus! 651 N US HWY 183 - Leander, TX on 8/31

A delicious baked empanada filled with a spiced pumpkin filling. YUM! I've had several folks ask me about these and I have been seeing them for a while now. If you're struggling to find them make sure to follow the product link in the headline above to search "nearby stores".

HEB Ghost and Pumpkin Salt & Pepper Shakers

Another absolutely adorable addition to the HEB Halloween decor aisle this year. I'm convinced these ghost and pumpkin shakers are the cutest ever.

Sweet Potato Casserole Chips

The Fall Limited Edition chips are back on the shelves, featuring the beloved Holiday Stuffing Chips from last year and introducing a new addition: Sweet Potato Casserole Thin Potato Chips. As a fan of sweet and salty flavors, I'm eagerly anticipating trying these out!

HEB's Pumpkin Muffin Bars and Pumpkin Crunchy Granola Bars are eagerly anticipated by Texans year after year. The Pumpkin Muffin Bars offer a moist, pumpkin-infused delight, while the Crunchy Granola Bars provide a satisfying crunch with hints of pumpkin spice.

HEB Pumpkin Pie Almonds

The HEB-brand pumpkin pie almonds are new this year, but they could be a rebrand of the Durham's almonds, which are made here in Texas.
